Cartographer at the Ota City Residents Council Covered by The Asahi Shimbun

Part 4 of The Asahi Shimbun's series on desire and politics, published in the morning edition on 6 January 2026, covered the use of Cartographer at the Residents Council in Ota City, Gunma.

The Ota City Residents Council is a residents' assembly of randomly selected citizens, designed and run by KOSO NIPPON, a Japanese policy think tank. In 2025 it focused on support for families with children, and we introduced Cartographer as KOSO NIPPON's technology partner.
